Joseph Gray’s “Subtle Chroma” integrates projection mapping into the gallery setting. His work relates to the physical architecture of the gallery. Rather than making an attempt to flatten the space, “Subtle Chroma” enhances the dimensional realities and draws us into the slower pace of architectural time.
Joseph Gray, a Seattle resident, explores non-objective abstraction and minimalism through his algorithmically generated animation. His new media work has shown around the country.
Joseph Gray is an Artist in Residence at Cornish College of the Arts @ iEti (institute for emerging technology and intermedia). Among other projects, he collaborated with Reilly Donovan to create an interactive projection-mapped digital installation at Design Basel, Switzerland.
